Shooting in Calgary's Pennbrook Meadows community. The assailants opened fire on police officers while executing a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of Pennswood Way SE. 30 hours after the incident, Calgary police said there was no threat to public safety in the Pennbrook Meadows community. Many residents who were evacuated from their homes were allowed to return home. Calgary police said an investigation has begun and will continue to provide updates via social media.
