2018' has fallen, the biggest overseas Malayalam hit is 'Manjummal Boys'

 

In the month of February, Indian cinema paid the most attention to Mollywood. The reason for this is that the three films that hit the theaters side by side - Premalu, Bhramayugam and Manjummal Boys - were successful. In this, Manjummal Boys achieved a success in Tamilnadu that Malayalam had never dreamed of before. Premalu has set collection records in Telugu states as well. Now according to new reports, Manjummal Boys has created a new box office record.

It is the record for the highest collection by a Malayalam film in foreign markets. The survival thriller directed by Chidambaram has come first after the film 2018, which is based on the flood faced by Kerala. The film has earned 8.3 million dollars so far. That is 69 crore rupees! With Kodaikanal as the main story backdrop, the film, which has references to Kamal Haasan's Guna movie, was a huge collection in Tamil Nadu, but the film was seen by Tamils as well as Malayalees in foreign markets.
