Moscow terror attack; The death toll has risen to 93

 

Moscow: Death toll rises to 93 in terror attack in Russia Many of those injured in the terrorist attack in the Russian capital Moscow are in critical condition. The shooting happened at Crocus City Hall as the band Picnic was about to start a night of music. After the shooting, there were explosions inside the hall. Later, the building caught fire, making rescue operations difficult.

The fire was brought under control by helicopters. International media reports that 11 people were arrested on Saturday in the attack claimed by the Islamic State. It is reported that four of the arrested are terrorists.

Eyewitnesses say that the assailants fled in a small car after the shooting. Two people have been arrested following this car. Reportedly, a pistol, magazine, rifles and a passport of Tajikistan were seized from this car. Reportedly, the assailants arrived dressed like soldiers. The concert was held in a complex that could accommodate around nine thousand people. It is reported that there were around 6,000 people at the scene when the shooting took place.
