Don't give Israel arms'; The UN Human Rights Council passed the resolution

 

GENEVA: The UN has passed a resolution calling for an end to the supply of arms to Israel. Human Rights Committee passed. Out of the 48-member body, 28 countries voted in favor of the resolution.

Six countries were against it. 13 countries including India abstained.

The resolution calls for the appointment of an independent investigation team to monitor arms exports to Israel and ensure that arms received by the Israeli military are not used against the Palestinian people.
