The bridegroom withdrew from the marriage without even being able to stay fit

 

Tadiyur: The groom came to the church in a condition where he could not even stand fit for his own wedding. The bride's family withdrew from the wedding after the young man misbehaved even with the priest who came to perform the wedding. The incident took place in Pathanamthitta, Kozhancheri Tadiyur. The marriage of a highly educated and employed young woman with a 31-year-old native of Namananam and working abroad was scheduled on March 15. But on the wedding day, she saw the groom who was unable to get out of the car because he was not fit enough to get out of the car. After struggling to get out of the car, things got worse. Seeing this, the bride's family got angry. After the argument, the groom did not give up and the priest who came to advise him was also covered with obscenities.

Finally the police arrived and took the groom to the church office. The two families agreed to pay compensation to the bride's family. It has been agreed to pay a compensation of Rs.6 lakh to the bride's family. The bride's family is relieved that her marriage to the drunken youth did not take place.
