The Apple Effect in India, earned crores

 

Two Apple-owned stores with strong momentum in the country. Both the stores generated revenue of Rs 190-210 crore last financial year. Both these stores rank among Apple's top retail outlets worldwide. This achievement was achieved by consistently selling Rs 16-17 crores per month. Last year, Apple opened stores on April 18 in Mumbai and two days later in New Delhi. Apple's CEO Tim Cook also attended the inauguration in person. The company is in talks to set up stores in Pune and Bengaluru. Company officials have clarified that they are not happy with just two stores in a market like India, and definitely have plans to expand.
