The Houthis shot down a US drone and fired a missile at a UK oil tanker

 

Sanaa: Houthis reportedly shot down a US drone. The ship was damaged in a missile attack on a UK oil tanker. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Zari claimed responsibility for the attack on the British oil tanker Andromeda Star. U.S. Central Command said the ship sustained minor damage but was continuing its voyage without incident.

The US military has yet to respond to Yahya's claim that it shot down the US Army's MQ-9 Reaper drone. But the American media CBS News reported that the US drone crashed in Yemen. This is the third US drone shot down by the Houthis since the conflict in Gaza began. Earlier, the drone was destroyed in the months of November and February.

United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations confirmed two attacks on the oil tanker MV Andromeda Star near Al-Muqa (Mocha), Yemen. The first explosion happened next to the ship. The ship was then damaged in a missile attack.
