May Long Weekend: Calgary CiTrain Service May Be Disrupted

 

Officials said some CiTrain services may experience disruptions during the May long weekend. Officials have warned users to expect disruptions in services. All downtown stations along Seventh Avenue and the Victoria Park/Stampede station will be closed from Saturday, May 18 through the early hours of Tuesday, May 21. Shuttle buses will be arranged for the passengers instead of the CiTrain service. Redline and Blueline services will also face disruption. Also, pedestrians and vehicles will have to take detours for the next few months due to other redevelopment activities taking place in the area. The activities will start on May 13 and will continue till June. Commuters can visit CMLC's website for live traffic updates and pedestrian access updates.
