Indian-origin woman stabbed to death in London; A 22-year-old man was arrested

London: Woman of Indian origin stabbed to death in London. The incident took place in north-west London. A young man attacked a 66-year-old Indian woman while she was waiting for the bus at the bus stop. In the incident, a 22-year-old youth was arrested and remanded on charges of murder.

The incident happened on May 9 at around 11.50 London local time. Anita Mukhey, who worked part-time as a medical secretary in the National Health Service (NHS), was killed. They were attacked while waiting at the Burnt Oak Broadway bus stop in the Eadware area of London. A young man named Jalal Debella was stabbed to death in the chest and neck.

The police reached the spot and arrested the accused Debella. A case was registered against him for murder and possession of a weapon. News agency PTI reports that the Metropolitan Police has said that after the trial, it will be decided whether the accused is guilty or innocent. The preliminary conclusion is that the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the chest and neck.
