Again the spread of covid, 25,900 cases were confirmed within two weeks

 

The spread of Covid is intensifying again in Singapore. Between May 5 and 11, the number of Covid-19 cases rose to 25,900. 13,700 cases were reported in the first week and the number of patients doubled in the following week. In the context of the spread of Covid, Singapore Health Minister Ong Ye Kung has suggested that everyone should wear a mask.

The health minister also stated that the spread is likely to become more severe in the next two to four weeks. The number of hospitalizations has also increased. 250 people were admitted this week alone. Last week there were 181 patients. If the cases double, the number of people admitted to the hospital will exceed 500.
