Helicopter crash: Iran's president Ibrahim Raisi has not been found

Azerbaijan: It is reported that the president of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, who was involved in a helicopter accident, has not been found yet. The rescue workers said that they could not reach the side of the crashed helicopter. The rescue mission has received help from Russia and Turkey. Russia said it had sent a specially trained team for the rescue operation. For 12 hours, more than 40 teams have been searching.

The news agency reported that the helicopter crash site was found and the helicopter was landed inside Uzi village. According to the report, bad weather is hampering the rescue mission. The news agency confirmed that the president and Iran's foreign minister were in the helicopter at the time of the crash.


It was reported that the accident took place in the city of Jolfa near the Azerbaijan border. This place is 600 km away from Tehran. Iran News Agency explains that the helicopter was returned due to bad weather.
