London: Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced the election in Britain. Anticipated move. Unexpectedly, the government has eight months left in office. The election has been announced. 

Elections will be held on July 4 after the King's permission to dissolve Parliament has been granted. The election was unexpectedly announced when Rishi Sunak's party, who is also of Indian origin, was lagging behind in opinion polls.

Rishi Sunak, who is of Indian origin, became the Prime Minister in October 2022.
