NASA to provide state-of-the-art training to Indian astronauts

Delhi: NASA will provide extensive training to Indian astronauts ahead of the joint mission of India and the US to the International Space Station. US Representative to India Eric Garcetti stated this at the 'US-India Commercial Space Conference: Unlocking Opportunities for US and Indian Space Startups' organized by US-India Business Council and US Commercial Service in Bengaluru on Friday.

NASA is providing state-of-the-art training to Indian astronauts for a joint mission to the International Space Station. It is likely to happen this year itself. He also informed that Nisar satellite will be launched soon from ISRO's Satish Dhawan Space Centre. Nisar is a joint US-India Earth observation mission.
