Jewish school shooting in Toronto: Doug Ford says immigrants behind it

 

 

Ontario Premier Doug Ford has accused immigrants of being behind the weekend shooting at a Jewish school in Toronto. Doug Ford's disclosure comes after the police reported that they had not found any clear evidence about the accused. The shooting took place at Bais Chaya Mushka School for Girls on Finch Avenue West in Dufferin Street around 5 am on Saturday.

Doug Ford said the province will fight hard against such attacks that scare people. "Continued attacks on Jewish communities and anti-Semitism are unacceptable," he added.

Meanwhile, opposition parties have come forward to condemn Ford's remarks and demand an apology. NDP Leader Marit Stiles called Ford's comments racist.
