India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York Ruchira Kamboj has announced her retirement.

New York: India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ruchira Kamboj has announced her retirement on June 1. She thanked 'Bharat' for the unforgettable years and unforgettable experiences.

“Thanks to your incredible leadership and dedication, your legacy and contributions will forever be cherished. Wishing you a happy and fulfilling retirement! "

Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations, New York posted on social media. Earlier, she also attended a key event focused on improving peacekeeping efforts, stating that she was proud to represent her country in a leading role by sharing strategies, ideas and best practices.

From 1989 to 1991, Cambodia began his diplomatic journey in Paris, where he was appointed as Third Secretary at the Indian Embassy in France. She was appointed Counselor at the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations in New York from 2002-2005.

In April 2014, UNESCO appointed her as India's ambassador to Paris in her third foray into multilateralism. However in May 2014, he was called by the Ministry of External Affairs on a special assignment to lead the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
