Harare: In the first match of the T20 series against Zimbabwe, India, who came out with a young team, suffered a shocking defeat by 13 runs. Chasing the target of 116 runs set by Zimbabwe, India were all out for 102 runs in 19.5 overs. After India's World Cup success, the young team was shocked by the unbelievable collapse in front of Zimbabwe. Apart from captain Shubman Gill who scored 31 runs and Washington Sundar who scored 29 runs, no one else struggled in the Indian line.
Captain Sikander Raza and Chatara took three wickets each for Zimbabwe. With the win, Zimbabwe took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. The second match of the series will be played at the same ground tomorrow. This is India's first defeat in T20 this year.
