After hours of trying, it became clear to Cooper that what he was trying to move was not just garbage, but a centuries-old dinosaur skeleton. After the news broke, Jason Cooper's discovery was celebrated in the media. Today, those bones fetched him nothing but Rs 373 crores! It is described as the world's largest auction of skeletons.

A dinosaur skeleton fetched $44.6 million (Rs 373 crore) at a Sotheby's auction in New York City. It was the skeleton of Stegosaurus, a herbivorous dinosaur that was 11 feet (3.4 m) tall and 27 feet long from nose to tail. The name given to this skeleton is 'Apex'. About 319 bones of the apex were found. Sotheby's auctioneers said it was one of the most complete dinosaur skeletons ever found.
