Southport: A 17-year-old boy stabbed two children with a knife in England. The tragic incident took place in northern England on Monday.

Two children were killed and nine others were injured, six critically, police said. The attack took place in Southport, near Liverpool, in northwest England.

Merseyside Police told a news conference that a 17-year-old male had been arrested for murder and attempted murder. Police are investigating the incident. The police said that the past history of the accused is also being checked.
