Heavy rain: Flood risk in Ontario and Quebec

 

Environment Canada is forecasting heavy rain in Ontario and Quebec as Tropical Storm Debbie merges with low pressure. Parts of Eastern Canada are expected to receive more than 100 millimeters of rain by the weekend. Environment Canada is also predicting the possibility of urban flooding with the heavy rain. People have been warned to avoid unnecessary travel and exercise caution.
