Princess Diana died in a car accident in Paris in August 1997. It was only after Diana's death that the world became aware of the influence that the Princess of Wales had on the royal family and British society. Twenty years after Diana's death, a strange event took place in 2019. Australian TV presenter David Campbell claims his son Billy Campbell is the reincarnation of the late Princess Diana in his regular column in Stellar magazine. David Campbell claimed that even though his son was born eighteen years after Diana's death, he still remembers little things from Diana's life that had nothing to do with him.

This claim was first made by Billy's father, David, in a column written in Stellar magazine. 'Her son Billy believes she "used to be a princess". At first, he thought his son's argument was just a joke,' David wrote. However, he noted that when he realized that Billy was giving accurate information about Diana's life and death, he became convinced. "This is going to be the weirdest column I've ever written, so excuse me," he began his article.

Billy first mentioned the royal family when he was two years old. Little Billy would point to her picture on a card and say, "Look, that was me when I was a princess." that Another time, looking at a picture of Balmoral Castle, the beloved residence of the late queen, he raved about the castle, which he had never visited. David wrote that Billy told his Scottish friend that she used to visit a castle in that "kilted wonderland" when she was Princess Diana. David wrote that his son had said that he had 'named the castle Balmoral and had "unicorns" in it'. "The unicorn is the national animal of Scotland, there are unicorns on the walls, how does he know this???" He reiterated his suspicions.

What's even weirder is that Billy knew Prince William and Prince Harry. David also claimed that his son started talking about "his two boys". "When asked who those boys were, our then three-year-old would say his 'sons.' Well... that's strange,' he then wrote, 'but sure enough, Billy surprised them again a few years ago when he talked about Diana's death. After glancing at a picture of Diana, Billie said, “Then one day the sirens came and I wasn't going to be a princess anymore.” Billie's advocacy has been in the news recently after Billie's story was shared on social media.
