Amul cornered other companies; Earned World's Strongest Food Brand Status

Amul, the dairy product distributor, holds the title of the world's most powerful food brand. This is according to the annual report of Brand Finance, a global brand valuation consultancy. Amul's brand value has increased by 11 percent from 2023. Amul's brand value is $3.3 billion in the latest rankings. Amul has maintained this achievement for the fourth consecutive year. Amul has 85 percent market share of Indian butter and 66 percent market share of cheese. This is the main strength of Amul. In 2022-23, Amul had achieved its highest ever sales of Rs 72,000 crore. This is an increase of 18.5 percent over the previous year.
