Mice as a silent killer, the highest death toll, with 121 deaths this year alone

 

Thiruvananthapuram: Rat fever has become a silent killer in the state. This year reported the highest death toll from rabies in recent times. So far this year, 121 rabies deaths have been confirmed. Apart from this, 102 deaths are suspected to be due to rat fever. Rabies is also the most deadly infectious disease. The figures are proving that prevention and surveillance are at the bottom.
