The parachute failed to open; A tragic end for the 46-year-old videographer

 

Sam Cornwell, a 46-year-old videographer from Hampshire, died tragically during a parachute jump near Shotton Airfield in County Durham, England. Sam Cornwell died in the South West Industrial Estate. Sam Cornwell was parachuting for a video shoot for a fellow skydiver. But according to reports, the accident happened because he could not open the parachute in time.

Sam Cornwell opened the main part of his parachute but could not fully open it. Due to this, the parachute was not able to catch the wind. He was later found stuck in a tree. But then he fell from there to the roof of the South West Industrial Estate and then to the ground. He sustained serious injuries in the fall. According to reports, he died on the spot.
