New Delhi: The Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed that further talks to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict will take place during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the US. Foreign Secretary Vikram Mishri informed that the Prime Minister will discuss the matter with US President Joe Biden. The Foreign Secretary clarified that consensus will be sought and what the outcome will be cannot be said at this time.

The foreign secretary did not confirm whether Modi would meet Donald Trump. Vikram Misri said that some meetings are under consideration. Modi, who will return to America on Saturday morning, will first attend the Quad Summit. Later, Modi will also address the Future Summit organized by the UN in New York. Modi will also participate in the reception ceremony of the Indian community.
