Canada has issued a travel warning for its citizens following Hurricane Milton's possible landfall in Florida. The National Hurricane Center predicts that the storm will make landfall on Florida's west-central Gulf Coast late Wednesday or early Thursday. Milton is reported to be the strongest hurricane in 100 years.

The US National Weather Service has raised the warning to Category 5. The Canadian government has advised its citizens to avoid non-essential travel to the Florida peninsula. The travel advisory states that the storm is likely to cause heavy rainfall and flooding and may cause landslides.

The Meteorological Center predicts that the wind will touch the land at a speed of 250 km per hour. A high alert has been put in place along the Florida coast for Milton.
