2 and then 34 zeros. This fine is not easy to calculate. 20 trillion dollars to be exact. That is 20,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 dollars. The Russian court imposed countless fines against Google.
This is because some YouTube channels were banned after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. YouTube channels of some media organizations supported by the government were banned. Earlier, Russia demanded that this ban be lifted as it is against freedom of expression. Legal action was taken because there was no favorable decision. YouTube, which is owned by Google's parent company Alphabet, was also fined. If the channels are not restored within nine months, the penalty will double for each day, the ruling said.

A global ban has been imposed on government-controlled channels including RT and Sputnik from 2022. In the wake of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, more than a thousand channels and more than 15,000 videos have been removed globally. Russia described the move as censorship and repression of state-controlled media.
