FIFA opens ticket bookings for 2026 World Cup

 

 

Ticket bookings for the 2026 World Cup, to be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico, have opened. The matches will be held in 14 cities across three countries, including Toronto and Vancouver in Canada. FIFA said that hospitality packages, which include tickets offering premium seating and food and drinks, can be booked now. The deposit cost is 700 Canadian dollars per person. This is fully refundable. This booking is different from general ticket sales. General ticket sales are expected to start next year through a lottery. This is the first World Cup since the number of competing teams was increased to 48. The competition will begin on June 11, 2026. The first match will be in Los Angeles on the 12th and the match in Canada will be in Toronto on the 12th.
