Israel-Hezbollah conflict ending? Report suggests ceasefire may be in place

 

 

Tel Aviv: The Hezbollah-Israel conflict is reportedly moving towards a ceasefire. These reports are circulating after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held high-level talks with Hezbollah on Sunday. There are indications that Israel has provisionally accepted the US proposal to end the conflict and that Netanyahu is continuing to discuss the agreement. Meanwhile, conflicting reports are also emerging regarding the Israel-Hezbollah talks.

Israeli media reports that Israel and Hezbollah are not close to a final agreement on the ceasefire. On Sunday, Hezbollah fired more than 250 rockets and drones into northern and central Israel during the peace talks. The attack reportedly caused heavy casualties. Israel retaliated by attacking Hezbollah targets in Beirut with a series of airstrikes.

Meanwhile, Israel continues its heavy attacks on Hamas and Hezbollah. Israel killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an attack in Beirut. Several Hezbollah commanders and key leaders were killed in Israeli strikes in various locations.
