One feature is that you can make video calls on WhatsApp with a New Year theme in the New Year. Another surprise is that new animations and stickers that give festival vibes are coming. Apart from New Year, such festival backgrounds, filters and effects will be available on WhatsApp for other festivals as well. Special stickers will be coming to WhatsApp for this coming New Year. Along with this, there will be New Year avatar stickers. New animated reactions will also appear on WhatsApp related to festivals. If someone uses such party emojis, an animation related to that special day will appear on the WhatsApp of both the sender and the recipient.

WhatsApp believes that the new features will help in sending festival wishes to others in an attractive way. WhatsApp also aims to further improve communication between users through these new features. Recently, WhatsApp introduced video call effects like underwater, karaoke microphone, and puppy ears. WhatsApp also recently introduced a feature that allows you to make group calls by selecting only the desired people without disturbing the other members of the group.
