British Columbia and Alberta in Canada have been named among the most beautiful places in the world for tourists in the new year. The places in Canada have been included in the list of 71 most beautiful places in 2025 released by travel publication Conde Nast Traveler. Peyto Lake in Alberta and Emerald Lake in BC are two of the most beautiful places to visit in the world.

Located in Yoho National Park in BC, Emerald Lake is one of the landmarks of the Canadian Rockies. The clear glacial waters of the lake are great for canoeing and swimming. Peto Lake is the most beautiful lake in Alberta. It is also the most photographed lake in the world. Peto Lake is located in Banff National Park. The lake can be best viewed from Bow Summit, the highest point on the Icefields Parkway.

Other beautiful places on the list include Victoria Falls in Zambia and Zimbabwe, the Valley of the Kings in Egypt, Shark Bay in Australia, and Paris in France.
