Delhi: A startup called 'Pixel Space' has created new history in the Indian space sector. The first private satellite network from the country reached space the other day. American private space launch and research company SpaceX deployed three state-of-the-art Earth observation satellites in the network named 'Firefly' in low-Earth orbit. Pixel Space describes Firefly as the most advanced Earth observation satellites in the history of space.

SpaceX's powerful Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California with 131 payloads, including Indian satellites. The mission was named Transporter-12. Three of these satellites were built by Indian startup Pixel Space. Firefly is the name of these state-of-the-art Indian-made Earth observation satellites. All three satellites are considered India's big three in high-resolution hyperspectral imaging technology. Moreover, this is also a sign that Indian private companies are also making their presence felt in the space sector.

The three satellites in Firefly, India's first private satellite network, will help study changes in the Earth and climate change. Pixel Space CEO Awais Ahmed described the launch as the beginning of a new era in the field of Earth observation. 'We have launched artificial satellites. "We are excited just thinking about it. All three satellites were launched together. These are the first satellites built by the amazing Pixel team. Most of them are building satellites for the first time," added Awais Ahmed.
