We must end the war with Russia, we will do everything we can to end it; Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky

 

 

Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he will end the war in the event of an escalation of tensions with Russia. It was decided during a meeting between Ukrainian and UK diplomats in Kiev that peace should be restored as soon as possible and that steps should be taken together immediately.

A very productive meeting was held in Kiev. We discussed measures to bring us closer to peace and accelerate diplomatic efforts. We are grateful for this support. Ukraine is determined to do everything necessary to end this war peacefully, Zelensky said.

Zelensky's statement that he will do everything possible to end the war peacefully comes as Ukrainian representatives are set to hold talks with American officials in Saudi Arabia to end the war.
