US plans to scrap daylight saving, poll begins

 

 

A report says that the US is considering scrapping daylight saving. As part of this, Elon Musk has launched an opinion poll. Musk came out with the survey days before millions of people set their clocks forward by one hour. Throughout Trump's campaign, he had said that the clock rules would be reversed.

The poll asked whether the clocks should be set one hour ahead or back if daylight saving is scrapped. About 1 million people have responded within 13 hours of the survey. 58 percent said they would prefer to set the clocks forward by one hour. Daylight saving begins on March 9 and ends on November 2. Clocks are set one hour ahead as winter and early sunsets end. This has been a practice for years. Political leaders including Trump have come out against this
