Canada is moving to launch a campaign using advertising as part of its fight against the tariff threats announced by the Trump administration. As part of this, Canada will install large billboards on US highways, Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly announced. Joly explained that the billboards that read 'Tariffs are a tax on hard-working Americans' will be installed in 12 states including Florida, Nevada, Georgia, New Hampshire, Michigan and Ohio.
The minister also stated that the boards are being installed with the aim of reminding the American people, the first victims of Donald Trump's tariff war, of the impact of the tariffs.
