If you share photos with your friends and relatives on WhatsApp, then we have good news for you. Now sharing photos will be twice as fun. As per a new report, WhatsApp is preparing to introduce a new feature that will allow users to share motion photos in chats, groups, and channels. The feature is currently under development and was spotted by WaBetaInfo in WhatsApp's latest Android beta version 2.25.8.12. Motion Photos will capture a few moments before and after a static image is taken. This will make the sharing experience even better.

Motion Photos are already available on devices like Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and Apple iPhones. In this, a short video clip is added along with a static image. On iOS, it is called Live Photos. WhatsApp already supports Motion Photos on Apple devices. The new feature will allow Android users to share motion photos in a similar way

WhatsApp is currently developing this feature. It is not yet available to beta testers. WhatsApp has not announced a release date. Once this feature is enabled, users will be able to share motion photos from their Android smartphones with other users. These images are currently shared as static images. However, reports suggest that an upcoming version of WhatsApp may allow users to share motion pictures (or Live Photos on iOS) in chats or channels. The feature is expected to be available to more beta users in the coming weeks, and it is likely to be available to all users with future updates, according to various reports.
