A 26-year-old man was pulled alive from the rubble of a building in Myanmar, which was devastated by an earthquake. The young man was found alive in the rubble of a collapsed hotel in the capital, Naypyidaw. He was immediately taken to the hospital. A young man named Naing Lin Tun was rescued and brought back to life by a joint Myanmar-Turkey team on Wednesday morning.

A search using an endoscopic camera accurately located Naing Lin Tun among the rubble and determined that he was alive. The young man was then pulled out in a very quick rescue operation. The young man was trapped inside the hotel building where he worked.

The death toll from the earthquake that hit Myanmar has reportedly passed 3,000. Local media reports that more than 4,500 people have been injured. However, reports indicate that the death toll is likely to rise further. An earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale struck near Mandalay, Myanmar's second largest city, on Friday. The tremors caused widespread damage. Aid agencies and the United Nations are warning that the earthquake has not only claimed lives but has also increased the risk of famine and disease outbreaks in the country as the civil war continues.
