Israeli attack in Gaza intensifies: 40 deaths including children

 

 

Jerusalem: 40 Palestinians, including 11 children, were killed in Israeli bombardments in Gaza in the past 24 hours. Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the military operation is being expanded to capture more areas of Gaza. These areas will be added to Israel's security zone.

However, it was not specified which areas. The army had asked Palestinians in Rafah and surrounding areas to evacuate the previous day. Israel has been maintaining a buffer zone on the Gaza border for a long time. It has been expanded further since the war began. In yesterday's attacks, 17 people, including 2 children, were killed in Khan Younis and 15 in northern Gaza. Among the bodies brought to Nasr Hospital, 5 women, including a pregnant woman, were killed. 15 people, including 9 children, were killed in the bombing of the Jabaliya refugee camp. Meanwhile, 4 people have been killed in ongoing US bombings in Yemen.
