Air ambulance carrying patient crashes into sea, killing 3 including patient and doctor

Tokyo: A helicopter carrying a patient crashed into the sea in Japan. Three people, including the patient, were killed. The air ambulance crashed in the southwestern region of Japan. Only three people were rescued by rescue workers in the incident. The 66-year-old pilot, a helicopter mechanic, and a 28-year-old nurse were rescued from the sea by the coast guard after the accident. The accident occurred on Sunday night.

They were found floating in the sea due to the protective gear they were wearing. The 34-year-old doctor who was with the team, the 86-year-old patient, and the 68-year-old man who was taking care of the patient died. Their bodies were later found by a Japan Air Self-Defense Force helicopter. The survivors were found after a search by two Coast Guard ships. The plane, which was en route to a hospital in Fukuoka from Nagasaki, crashed. The cause of the crash is not yet known.
