Washington: The White House announced that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump have canceled a joint press conference. Netanyahu and Donald Trump met at the White House on Monday. Netanyahu discussed issues including the ceasefire in Gaza with US President Donald Trump. However, the White House announced that there will be no press conference after the meeting.

Everyone was looking forward to the US's stance on the ceasefire as various European countries came out strongly against Israel's ongoing massacre. Meanwhile, the White House announced that the joint press conference had been canceled. The White House did not specify under what circumstances the press conference was canceled.

The two countries discussed a range of issues, including President Donald Trump's imposition of a 17 percent tariff on imports from Israel, the search for a ceasefire in Gaza, and growing concerns about Iran's nuclear program. During the talks, Donald Trump called for an end to the war in Gaza.
