Kiev: Israel has said that one-third of Gaza is under full military control and that it is expanding the Morag Corridor, the dividing line in southern Gaza. The corridor is being built between Rafah, which is located on the Egyptian border, and Khan Younis, the largest city in southern Gaza.
An infographic video released by Israel shows the Morag Corridor, which separates Rafah and Khan Younis. Morag is a former Israeli settlement. It was located between the Palestinian cities of Khan Younis and Rafah. The goal of establishing such a corridor was to open the old road that connected Gaza's Sufa border with Morag. With the construction of the Morag Corridor, Gaza was divided into three parts: south, north and center. This has made it impossible for Gazans to travel through the cities.
Israel released footage showing the destruction of Khan Younis, the most important city in Gaza, and a ghost town with nothing left. Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the goal is to divide the remaining Gaza in two and intensify the attack until the hostages are returned.
