Washington: US President Donald Trump has said that he is not going to interfere in the India-Pakistan conflict. Trump added that he is very close to both India and Pakistan. There are conflicts on the India-Pakistan border. He added that the two countries will solve the problem together.
The problem between the two countries in Kashmir has been going on for 1500 years. Maybe it has been going on for longer than that. But the terrorist attack that happened now is wrong. I know the leaders of both countries. They will solve the problem by consulting each other, Trump told reporters.
After the Pahalgam incident, Donald Trump had called Prime Minister Narendra Modi and strongly condemned the terrorist attack. Trump had also announced full support for India in bringing the perpetrators behind this attack to justice.
Meanwhile, India sent a diplomatic note to Pakistan informing it of the freezing of the Indus Water Treaty. India may withdraw from the dispute settlement talks involving the World Bank. The Ministry of External Affairs has sought the advice of the Attorney General in this regard. The follow-up steps in freezing the Indus Water Treaty were also reviewed under the leadership of Amit Shah. The minister had also informed that short-term and long-term plans have been prepared to prevent the supply of water to Pakistan.
