Apple CEO Tim Cook said that iPhone exports to the US in the June quarter will mainly come from India. Trump's tariff war against China has forced Apple to change its business strategy. The move is to replace Chinese-made iPhones with iPhones made in India. Tim Cook revealed that most of the products destined for the US in the next quarter will be manufactured in India and Vietnam.

iPhones will be manufactured in India and iPads, Macs, Apple Watches and AirPods will be manufactured in Vietnam and shipped to the US. Products made in China will also be shipped to non-US markets. The United States has lifted additional tariffs on iPhones made in China, but Apple says even the current 20 percent tariff will impose a significant financial burden.
