Lung cancer can now be detected earlier. The technology for this has been found in India. . Johnson & Johnson Medtech and Cure AI have jointly developed an advanced artificial intelligence and medical technology. Through this, lung cancer can be detected at a treatable stage. Johnson & Johnson Medtech India and Cure AI are paving the way for the detection of potentially malignant nodules in the lungs by using artificial intelligence in X-ray & CT scans.

The Incidental Pulmonary Nodule (IPN) Detection Clinics led by Cure AI are designed to be set up in leading hospitals across India. These clinics will function as integrated screening hubs that optimize early detection, triage and follow-up treatments. It will soon be operational in 10 hub medical centers across India, along with 20 supporting spoke sites. The first clinic has been launched at the Thangam Cancer Center in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu.
