The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is now accepting applications. Applications for eligible Canadians between the ages of 18 and 34 began Thursday. On the 29th of this month, CDCP applications will be expanded to include those between the ages of 35 and 54. The program, which was launched in 2023, aims to reduce dental costs for Canadians earning less than $90,000 per year.

The government said in a statement that it will send letters inviting eligible Canadian residents between the ages of 18 and 64 to apply for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) based on their adjusted family income in 2024. The federal government says the dental care plan will help nearly 9 million uninsured people get the care they need.
