Canada, Britain and France threaten sanctions against Israel

 

 

 

The UK, France and Canada have threatened to take tough measures, including sanctions, against Israel. The three countries have called for an end to Israel's military operations in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. They also say that humanitarian aid should be allowed immediately.

They recognize Israel's right to defend itself. But the current attacks have crossed all limits, the leaders of the three countries pointed out. The leaders, who promised all support for the ceasefire efforts, also expressed support for the two-state solution with the formation of an independent Palestine. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also responded in strong language. For Israel, completely wiping out Hamas terrorists on the border is essential for its survival. Netanyahu also accused France, Canada, and Britain of offering a huge reward for genocidal attacks against Israel by demanding an end to the war before this is possible.
