Delhi: Covid is spreading again. The total number of Covid cases in the country has crossed 1000. According to the latest figures, the number of cases has reached 1009. Since May 19, 335 cases have been added in Kerala. Two deaths have also been reported. Currently, there are a total of 430 active cases in Kerala, according to the figures released by the Union Health Ministry. The increase in cases in the country since May 19 is 752. 305 people have recovered. The number of cases in Kerala is also increasing because of the tests being carried out. The increase in Covid cases in South Asia is due to the spread of the JN1 variant (a sub-variant of Omicron). Experts said that although this variant is very active, the World Health Organization (WHO) has not yet classified it as a variant of concern. Symptoms are usually not severe and those infected recover within four days. Some of the common symptoms include fever, runny nose, sore throat, headache, and fatigue.
