Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that there has been no decision yet to hold nuclear talks with the US. The Iranian Foreign Minister has rejected US President Donald Trump's claim that US-Iran talks will be held next week. He said that an assessment is being made whether talks with the US again will be beneficial for Iran.

The US and Israel claim that the attack was carried out to limit Iran's nuclear weapons capability. However, Iran claims that its nuclear program is being used entirely for the benefit of its people. Araghchi admitted that the attacks caused significant damage. He also said that inspections are currently being carried out on the status of its nuclear programs.

Trump said at the NATO summit in The Hague on Wednesday that the US and Iran will hold talks on their nuclear programs next week. However, White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt told reporters that nothing is currently scheduled. The press secretary said that he is in communication with Iran and Qatar and will inform them if there is a meeting. After the attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, the US has been actively seeking direct talks with Iran. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that he is doing his best to reach an agreement with Iran.
