RCMP soldiers have been charged with conspiracy to form an armed group to seize land. Three people have been charged with terrorism in Quebec after a two-year investigation.

Four people, including two members of the Canadian Armed Forces, have been charged. Marc-Aurel Chabot of Quebec City, Simon Angers-Audet of Neuville, and Raphael Lagasse of Quebec City have been charged with aggravated criminal conspiracy to facilitate terrorist activities. They have also been charged with possession of a weapon. They attempted to form an anti-government force using a large amount of weapons. As part of this, the RCMP says they practiced military-style shootings and attacks. The RCMP said the group was involved in a conspiracy to forcibly acquire land in the Quebec City area. They appeared in court on Tuesday.
