Washington: The figures of Indians deported during the seven-month administration of Donald Trump, who came to power for the second time with the slogan of 'Make America Great Again', have been released. Trump's important decision after returning to the US presidency was to deport immigrants. Despite criticism from various quarters, the Trump administration stood firm on the decision. India also faced a major setback due to Trump's deportation policy. The Trump administration deported 1703 Indians who were not US citizens in 7 months.

That is, an average of eight Indians are deported every day. Out of the 1703 Indians deported from the United States, 1562 are men and 141 are women. It is estimated that 8 people from Kerala have been deported from the US. Those from Punjab are the most likely to return to India. The figures released so far are as of July 22.

Meanwhile, another news that has come out is that the central government has decided to avoid a public confrontation with US President Donald Trump in the dispute over the trade agreement. Government sources said that the agreement is to handle the issue with restraint. The government has instructed various ministries to prepare a list of more products that can be exempted from duty. This makes it clear that the central government is looking for ways to reach a consensus even as Donald Trump continues to criticize the stagnant economy of India and Russia, and India is the country that imposes the highest tariffs in the world.
