Washington, DC: Sergio Gore has been appointed as Donald Trump's next ambassador to India.
Sergio Gore, 38, is Trump's chief of staff. He was promoted to this position because of his loyalty to Trump in appointments. He has been appointed as ambassador to India and special representative for South and Central Asian countries. He will continue as chief of staff until he is confirmed for this position.
A graduate of George Washington University, Gore participated in the College Republicans and founded the university's chapter of the Young Americas Foundation. He was an activist in Senator John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign, worked on the Republican National Committee, and later served as a spokesman for Representatives Steve King, Michele Bachmann, and Randy Forbes. In May 2013, Gore began working for Kentucky Senator Rand Paul's political action committee, RANDPAC, eventually serving as Paul's spokesperson, communications director, and deputy chief of staff.
